Joint Letter to the Texas COVID-19 Expert Vaccine Allocation Panel

AAEM signed on to a joint letter to the Texas COVID-19 Expert Vaccine Allocation Panel, urging them to include emergency medicine personnel in Tier 1.

On behalf of a coalition of emergency care physicians, emergency nurses, providers, professionals, and associations in Texas, we write to express our deep concern with the COVID-19 Vaccine Allocation Tier levels and the exclusion of emergency medicine personnel in Tier 1. We urge you to include all emergency medicine personnel into Tier 1, including those providers who choose to work at independently licensed emergency care facilities.
